Ginge joined the club at the start of the 2004/05 season, starting off as a No 6. Unfortunately he got destroyed in a scrum and broke a rib, attempting to prop, in his 2nd game for the Cosmos which put him out of action for a fair chunk of the season. Eventually he came back playing as a loosie and lock and developed an excellent locking combination with Luke Phillips, especially adept at going in reverse. Unfortunately R McNaughtan decided he wasn't much of a forward and chucked him in the midfield for the Bs where he did alright and ended up playing for the As on the wing at the end of the 2004/2005 season. For the last two seasons Ginge has been the outside centre for the As but lack of pace and an expanding waistline has prompted a switch into the forwards for the 2007/2008 season. Has been named Captain of the As for 2007/2008 season. |
