Under Phil's Chairmanship Kilburn Cosmos RFC has grown, adding a Women's team and Tag/Junior section to the already thriving 2 senior men's teams. His aim is to ensure that the club continues to grow and to offer better access rugby union to the local community. Despite his fanatical dedication to the advancement of Kilburn Cosmos RFC, involving himself in all aspects of the club since becoming a committee member, Phil has yet to score for the Cosmos in 6 years of trying. He likes to believe he is an improving on-pitch player, but he in reality he is plagued with injury and talented only at organising the boat race.
