KILBURN COSMOS 50 - BLACK BAA BAAS 10

On Saturday we took on the top of the table in the most enjoyable game for the Bs this season. The final score was 50-10. The first half was a tightly contested game with our forwards just having the edge in the scrum and Paul Nolan using pick and go's like never before. At half time the
score was 12-10 to Cosmos with Nathan Hurst converting one of our two tries scored by Joel Martin and Caleb Willis.

At half time the team talk turned the game around and a quick score in the second half by Jared Horsfall gave the whole team confidence in themselves and each other. The hits got harder and the rucks were faster to provide the backs who were spinning the ball all game long a clear platform for some wonderful teamwork. This resulted in four more backs tries and one forwards try
from Perez Labort, Nathan Hurst, Andy Gbinigie, Chris Protherough and a final
try from Jared.

Quick thinking and lots of communication won Cosmos Bs the game exemplified when the ball went into touch on one occassion and Chris P shouted at everyone to leave the ball (which they respectfully did) as soon as he picked it up (not even looking) it went the 5m into Andy's hands and Andy ran it up into contact, a quick ruck was formed and then the short pass led
to a try. Great teamwork all round.
